Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

WorkGrain is a trading name of Flow Connect Technologies LLC, a consulting business based in Reno, Nevada. We build business systems, automation, and AI tooling for small and mid-sized businesses. This policy covers this website and the ways you contact us through it.

2. What we collect

When you book a walkthrough or reach out, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you share about your business. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers also log basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.

This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms that uses cookies to record visits to this site so we can measure and show our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may combine this with other information it holds under its own privacy policy. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings or block cookies in your browser.

3. How we use it

We use your information to respond to you, schedule and run meetings, deliver our services, and follow up about your inquiry. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to operate (described below).

4. Scheduling and third-party services

Booking happens through a third-party scheduling service, and we use standard business tools for email, calendars, and customer management. These providers process your contact details on our behalf and under their own privacy policies. We choose tools with reasonable security practices, but we are not responsible for the policies of services we do not control.

When you buy something on this site, you pay on our payment providers' secure pages (Stripe or QuickBooks Payments). They collect your card details; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, what you bought, the amount and whether the payment went through, and we keep that with the record of the terms you accepted before paying.

5. Client work and confidentiality

When we build systems for a client, we may access that client's accounts, tools, and business data. That access is used only to deliver the engagement, is treated as confidential, and is governed by the written agreement for that engagement, not by this page.

6. Email and text messages

Email. When you register or contact us, we email you about your request. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Text messages. We text you only if you check a box asking for texts. Giving us your phone number on its own does not sign you up. We run two separate text programs, and you choose each one: (1) Workshop texts: reminders for a workshop you registered for, up to 4 messages per event, from 866-344-6968; and (2) Offer texts: marketing messages about WorkGrain's paid programs and future workshops, up to 4 messages per month, from 888-693-7357. Agreeing to either is never required to register or to buy anything. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us, or email owen@workgrain.com or tell us any other reasonable way. Replying START to a number restarts that program only if you had signed up for it.

What we keep. When you sign up for texts, we record your mobile number, which box you checked and the exact wording you saw, the page, the date and time, and your IP address and browser type, so we can show that you asked for the messages. We also keep a record of every opt-out so we never text that number again by mistake. We keep consent and opt-out records for as long as we may need them to show what you agreed to, generally five years after our last text to you, and longer for opt-outs where the law requires it.

Sharing. We do not sell, rent or transfer your mobile number or your text consent, and we do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, other than the service providers that process them on our behalf to run these programs (for example, the company that delivers our texts and the tools that store our sign-up records).

7. Your choices

You can ask us at any time to correct or delete the information we hold about you, and we will, unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons. Text consent and opt-out records (section 6) are kept even after a deletion request, so we can honor the opt-out and show what you agreed to.
